Introduction to Human Relations: Relationships in School-Age Settings

Working in a school-age program involves many types of relationships. Knowing the various types of relationships and the issues surrounding each of them will help school-age staff have a positive work experience. Their ability to interact well within those relationships will impact the children and families also. This workshop explores the relationships, some of their potential issues, and the importance of learning how to influence a positive outcome.

  • Groups of 11-30

Easy as ABC: Your Guide to Quality Coaching

Participants learn a simple approach to coaching staff to positively impact program quality. Through role play, video and small and large group discussion, participants will learn a three step process to increase the frequency, consistency and duration of positive instructional practices and take back an action plan with follow up resources. This workshop is adaptable to existing quality improvement standards and tools.
