Behavior Management Training That “Sticks”: Strategies for Supervisors
Are you a supervisor who struggles to train staff in the complicated area of behavior management strategies? The Training That “Sticks” model aims to provide an approach to behavior management training that promotes ongoing staff growth and development. This evidence-informed model was designed specifically for supervisors who face the unique challenges of the OST workforce: limited time for training, a high number of part-time staff, significant levels of staff turnover, and working with staff who haven’t had formal youth development training. Join this workshop to learn how to incorporate specific behavior management strategies into your programs and walk away with a training structure and sample curriculum to implement with your staff team.

Programs that serve Grades K-4

Behavior Management Training That “Sticks”: Strategies for Direct Service Staff
Have you attended multiple trainings related to behavior management and still struggle with various behaviors in your OST program? Have you become frustrated because you can’t seem to find an approach that works? You are not alone! Guiding positive behaviors is likely the most difficult part of your job, but is arguably the most important; when a program is full of negative behaviors, neither youth nor staff can be their best. Join this session to learn about guiding positive behaviors using a method that is sure to “stick” with you, and come away with ideas you can implement in your program immediately.
