Summer STEM Opportunities for Arizona Youth

Arizona youth have so many exciting summer programs to choose from this year to meet their needs and interests. We’d like to highlight a few opportunities to get youth engaged in hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) this summer:

SPOT 127 Summer Programs

SPOT127LOGO_FinalSPOT 127, KJZZ’s youth media center, empowers Valley youth with digital media skills that are vital to today’s information economy. Their free afterschool programs and summer camps provide mentoring and instruction in multimedia production. SPOT 127 invites teens to participate in their summer offerings where they will gain hands-on experience in audio and video production, and become proficient in Adobe software, and the use of cameras and recording equipment. Choose from a 2-week Summer Boot Camp or drop-in sessions from May through July.
