Site Leader, Read Better Be Better

Read Better Be Better (RBBB) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2014 to help children in Arizona improve literacy skills and become better learners. RBBB organizational values are simple. They define the organization, the programs and the expectations. Be Excellent. Be Kind.

Responsibilities

  • Excellent Program:
    • Ensure program materials are complete and in good repair
    • Ensure program materials are prepared and ready for student arrival time
    • Keep attendance records current
    • Facilitate Read Better Be Better activities for the duration of each program session
    • Encourage student participation to enhance student experience
    • Monitor student activity to improve student performance
    • Close program and release students
    • Return site to order and carefully store all program materials for next use
    • Be prepared to train reading leaders as necessary
    • Maintain  communication  with  school  certified  staff  to  optimize  student  experience
    and performance and promote Read Better Be Better in the community
    • Effectively and completely communicate program successes and challenges to CEO
  • Excellent organization:

Mission: To help children master reading comprehension in 3 ways:
1. Improve concentration
2. Encourage an active enjoyment of reading
3. Help develop a deeper understanding of what is being read
