After School Program Aide

The After School Program Aide Team Members will supervise students enrolled in our Legacy Traditional after school Kids Care Program

Flexible part time hours:

Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – after school hours from 3:00pm-6:00pm

Wednesday after school hours from 12:00pm-6:00pm

*willing to work with flexible schedules

Responsibilities include:

· Monitor attendance for students enrolled in LKC

· Assist and observe students during meal/snack breaks

· Organize and oversee fun and interactive activities that engage with all students

· Assist students, individually or in small groups with homework supervision

· Monitor and report any incidents relating to students to the LKC Program Administrator

Requirements:

· Must have the ability to interact positively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators

· Must be at least 18 years old

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Travel between campuses is required from time to time.

This position requires the need to lift objects (up to 25 pounds) on occasion.

This position may require sitting for long periods at times, talking on the phone, standing, kneeling, stooping and long periods of concentration.

Local and in-state travel required.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Duties are performed typically in school and/or office settings throughout the division. May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; to enter data into a computer keyboard; to research identified job related duties using the Internet and other resources; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Background:

· Must be able to pass and criminal history background check and obtain a Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
