Family Resources for the Teacher Walk Out

We know that this may be a difficult time for you and your families. We understand that many in our community support the teachers and their need to push for action by walking out. We all want what is best for our youth in the classroom–and out. In order to try and support our working families we are compiling a list of possible resources for you and your children. This list is by no means complete but it may help get you started. We will continue to update it as programs make arrangements so keep checking back.

Please note that if you and your family rely on breakfast and lunch from your schools–please check with the school as many schools will still be offering food programs even if the school itself is closed for student activity.

Some of these options are free, some have a cost, some have a cost but will be donating the proceeds back to their local schools. Please contact the program for program details.
