Are you looking to develop a successful teen out-of-school time program but not sure where to start? Does your site already have a teen program in place but have trouble holding momentum and retaining students? Engage in this hands-on training session to learn many of the guiding principles and structural components that can help you develop and sustain impactful programs for older youth. You will leave with new knowledge, new skills, a new sense of purpose for immediate implementation to make afterschool matter!
“Beyond ‘Just Say No’: Out-of-School Time in the Opioid Epidemic Solution”

It is the deadliest drug overdose crisis in US history. As a Nation searching for an answer, this workshop explores out-of-school time’s contribution to the solution of the Opioid epidemic. There is no quick fix but there are many different components of the solution. There are many well-known pieces of the solution but what role does out-of-school time play? In this workshop you will explore how out-of-school time programs contribute to the solution and why it is important component of the solution. Get the tools your programs need to use out-of-school time to fight this epidemic.
