Want to be the Keynote Speaker at our School’s Out, Make It Count (SOMC) conference?
We want to hear from you. Please complete a form (link at bottom of page) to be considered for our next Keynote Speaker.
What we are looking for: SOMC Keynote Speakers have good energy, are encouraging, and have a positive, motivating message. The message should apply to the adult staff who work with youth in Out-of-School Time (OST) programs, afterschool, and youth programs. Our Keynote Speakers speak about cutting-edge, timely topics. If they have any ties to Arizona that is a plus! Keynotes are 15-20 minutes in length, traditionally the Keynote Speaker also presents a workshop later in the conference day.
What we aren’t looking for: SOMC Keynote Speaker’s message is not for youth, students, or teachers although teachers may also be staff who work with youth in OST programs, afterschool, and youth programs. We use the terms “youth” not “student” and “staff” not “teacher” just to name a few differences.
