Welcome to Our New Board Member, Catherine Evilsizor

The Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence is proud to announce the appointment of our newest Board Member. Catherine Evilsizor joins us with 20 years of experience in community-based program planning, implementation, funding, and resource development.

Over the course of her career, Catherine has worked with school communities, nonprofits, municipalities, and other entities to develop and write over $47 million in awarded grant proposals to support these programs. She has experience in building programs from the ground up in both urban and low-income communities in addition to supporting organizations in resource development. Catherine has developed bylaws, policies, and program procedures for nonprofit organizations throughout her career, including staff protocol, budget monitoring, data collection, and program evaluation methodology.

We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and look forward to Catherine’s contributions as we work toward our mission of promoting accessible, high-quality expanded learning opportunities for all Arizona children and youth by focusing on professional development, advocacy, and capacity building in the out-of-school time community.
